Home daycare recommendations

Hi all,

My family and I are moving to the neighborhood and looking for home daycare recommendations. We currently have our daughter in a home daycare and would love to know of any home daycares in Jackson Heights. We know COA and Little Elms are also great options, though we would prefer a more intimate setting, but can't seem to find any reviews online of home daycare places in JH and have had no luck receiving any calls back from a few of the places listed.

If you have experience with home daycare in JH please let us know!

Hi, my kids are recently past the daycare age but I remember how stressful it could be finding a good place, so I wish you a good search!
First recommendation: join the JHFamilies Yahoo group (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/jhfamilies/info). There are tons of conversation threads you can search about daycares in the neighborhood and beyond.
Second recommendation: we most recently sent our daughter to a home daycare named Mis Huellitas, on 90th Street between 31st and 32nd Avenues. The owner is a wonderful woman named Marisol Alvarez who has a background in education in her native Colombia. DM me if you're interested and would like her number.
