Hello all! First of all, thanks so much to everyone who is buying gift cards, the response has been way beyond our expectations and extremely helpful to us right now. It's truly heartwarming!
I thought it would be good to provide an update on what's been happening with The Q. I'll try to do this more often as we approach our opening date.
Basically, right now we are working with the DoB in order to close out all of our permits. We have expediters working on this for us, because it's a very complicated job. One of the reasons that caused us delays is that the existing status of the building was very convoluted with regards to permits and open applications, which forced us to have to use expediters that weren't our first choice.
Long story short - we're almost there. Every day brings another victory, one more dragon slain, another check on the list of permits that we need, this is nice to see.
