What's Roku?  And  how would I get my internet? I need to see all the Ranger games, so would I have to pay extra for that?

You'll still need Internet service, even for a Roku.  What you don't need is the cable box and the monthly cable bill.
50 mbps Internet service is available for $39.99 per month.  Roku turns your TV into a smart TV so you can get movies and some cable channels over the Internet.  There are many free channels from Roku,  but you'll still need to pay for Netflix or Amazon Prime video.  As for the Rangers,  you'll still need cable TV because I'm pretty sure MSG is only available over the Internet to cable customers.
