Looking for a housekeeper

Hi, I am looking for a reference for a good housekeeper to either come to my 1BR apt bi-weekly or monthly.  I've tried Handy, etc. and have gotten varied results, so I thought looking for someone in the neighborhood would be better so the $ I give can go 100% to a human, not a company.
