cat for adoption at AC &C
« on: June 19, 2016, 06:08:09 AM »
Saffron aka Luna, the kitty whose owner dumped her at AC & C before I could help re home her, has now been moved to the AC &C adoption page.  If you are looking to adopt and literally want to rescue someone, this would be the place.
Again her number is A1056682.  Also on the list from Jackson Heights area is Ellie a one year old spayed female A1077085 and Hazel a spayed 3 year old.  There is a white male cat named Jaden, 2 years old A1077097 who has a u tube video on the site.
I would definitely take any cat adopted from there to your vet as conditions at the facility are not good partially due to overcrowding.

A very nice couple who read about Saffron's plight adopted her today.  We went on a 3 hour journey to Brooklyn, to a most unpleasant environment with nasty front desk people and despite all this Saffron now has an excellent home.  This place is not for the faint of heart but for people who have a heart.
Thanks to all who read this website   To date four cats in varying stages of need have found homes via Jackson Heights life!

If a dog or cat is RESCUE only at the ACC, then you must reach out to an approved rescue group that can pull the animal out for you. FIRST STEP is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ON THE RESCUE'S WEBSITE AND SUBMIT ASAP = nothing can be done without a submitted application first - fill out with at least (3) rescue groups.

To name a few
Rescue Dogs Rock NYC
Second Chance Rescue NYC
Rebound Hounds
Looking Glass Animal Rescue

and many more
there is a list on the URGENTS PAGE TO THE RIGHT - I will post it here as well.

Most rescue groups will not pull an animal.

All my dogs were pulled by Rescue groups that I have contacted to pull out for me.
email A FEW OF THEM, not just one. And fill out a foster and or adoption application on their website and they will pull the dog or cat out, be sure to be in their A#.

If they have a foster, they SURE will!

I am getting a new foster dog soon, they pulled her out and she is at the vets now :)
