Anybody have feedback on the Wilshire? 74th street.

On the corner of 74th St. and 34th Ave.

Just curious if anyone has knowledge or experience with this building?

I see there is a school right across the street. I've never lived so close to a school (6th to 8th grades it says... IS230) and I'm not sure what the practical implications of that would be (?)

Any comments welcome. Search function turned up nothing.

You asked this so long ago you probably don't need to know anymore, but just in case... I rented a studio there for 3 years, moved out in 2011.  The building is in a great location and they have a big laundry room with lots of machines.  The studio I was renting was not renovated and the kitchen was falling apart.  I had to have the exterminator spray every month to help with the roaches. I often thought the reason I had so many roaches was because there were so many gaps & openings in the kitchen where they could get in, so it's possible that the apartments in better condition didn't have as big of a problem.
I never had any issues with the school being across the street.  It was very easy to go vote!  But I wasn't usually home during the day on weekdays, and my apartment faced the interior rather than the street. 
I probably would have lived there longer but I wanted more space and I was tired of the roaches.
