Little Egypt in Astoria
« on: February 19, 2016, 09:36:51 PM »
The "Little Egypt" neighborhood on Steinway Street doesn't seem to get a lot of attention.  I love Kebab Cafe in Astoria... definitely a must-try if you haven't been there.

Today the NY Times reviews Mombar, co-owned by the Kebab Cafe chef's younger brother, along with a Jackson Heights resident.  Sounds fantastic.

Does anybody have any other favorites over there?

Duzan. The hummus and foul mudammas are so good.
