Lost grey and white cat not neutered from 89-10 35th Avenue
« on: August 12, 2015, 09:57:09 AM »
Hi my cat KIKO walked out of my my moms apt on 89-10 35th Avenue Apt E3l on 8/1 in the evening. He was last seen walking into one of the apartments two floors down. that person let him out. Suoer has check all videos from the floors and outside and has not seen him. HE might have walked out of the building.

Please if you see a cat with the descriptions of mine please take a pic and send it to me and call me right away. We are very sad. He is one year old, pink nose, friendly, moslty gray, long tail, and grey on his left front leg. Thank you

I will attach a pic.

When your cat is found, I beg you to be sensible and neuter him.  If there is a female cat in heat in the neighborhood - and chances are high that there are - he will be following that cat and fighting with perhaps diseased stray males for her favors.

I will attach a pic.

Hi Dinorah,

I'm your neighbor and I spoke to you the other day. I'm glad you posted on JHLIfe. There is no need to defend yourself as to neutering your cat. People usually post to be helpful, not to demean. Sometimes, although we write things that are addressed to one, we are aware we have an audience and speak with the intent of reaching others as well. It can never be said enough times to neuter your cats. You will be saying it too after this experience.

Please let us know if you find your cat. You should come out at night when the cats are screaming. It was loud and unsettling last weekend around the back of my building, between 88th and 89th on 35th.

Good luck.

Jeanette

I have a feeling some heartless neighbor in the building took him and will not give him back.

Have you checked every nook and cranny of your building? Cats are great at hiding- especially when they are scared. When we moved years ago my cat hid in our couch for two days. Perhaps look around when it is quiet and call him and leave some food around to see if it has been eaten. Also you might want to post on Queens lost and found pets on facebook.
