Participatory Budgeting comes to our area
« on: September 18, 2014, 10:38:57 AM »
Participatory Budgeting -- in which the community gets to vote on how to allocate a portion of City Council funds -- is gradually making its way around the various districts in Queens.

Next up is Julissa Ferreras' district.   DNAinfo has the details.  There will be public meetings on 9/25 and 10/1 where you can participate in determining the priorities.

What are your ideas?

Brownstoner Queens has been tracking this as it makes its way around the borough.
