We use Long Island Carpet Cleaners. They are an old and reputable company.  We have had them clean, re-fringe, and do minor repairs to our Persian rugs. They pick up and return the rugs. They aren't cheap, but you pay for what you get and they are trustworthy pros. They also periodically do 2 for 1 specials on rug cleaning.
