Daily News story on Frank's
« on: August 20, 2014, 03:50:49 AM »
Ran into Patricia from Frank's on the street today and she tipped me off to this nice piece. One bit of bad news (for me, at least) ... Jerry from Armondo's can't find an affordable space in the area right now. quoted as saying a replacement across the street would have run double what he was paying in the Bruson.....

That's a shame to hear about Jerry.  I wonder if he'll wait till the building is redone. Armando's was an institution in the neighborhood. The staff was always welcoming and the food just fine. Wish them the best.

Jackson Heights native Michele Beaudoin, of Beaudoin Realty Group, was the real estate professional who helped make this happen.  She reached out to both Frank and the owner and facilitated the meeting of the minds that made this possible. Thanks Michele!

Thanks for alerting us JH. I do hope Jerry finds a place nearby. Armando's was and institution and let's all hope it will still BE one.

That's sad about Armondo's, I hope they find a place or can afford to wait until the building is rebuit.

Any word about La Portena?
