home inspector and contractor recommendations wanted!

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a thorough, competent, independent home inspector for a co-op.

Also, I would love any names of good contractors for redoing a kitchen, bathroom, floors, replacing some windows... um, basically everything.

For home inspection we were really happy with Tom from All Aspects - http://www.allaspectsinspections.com/

Very through inspection (the realtor said it was the longest time he's ever spent at one) and gave us a useful report with images of all the problem areas.

I really like John Zito at Atlantic Home Inspection. He does a very thorough job and gives pictures along with his inspection.
