Jackson Heights Life

Our co-op's porters have been feeding two female cats for some time.  They've been very helpful in keeping our mouse population down.  However, they both got themselves pregnant recently and we now have not only two adult cats (that we will have spayed), but the father hanging around, and 4 extremely cute kittens.  There were more kittens but some have been adopted (I've taken one).  Remaining are one coal black female (my kitten's sister), two orange cats, and one grey cat.  Gender of the last 3 unknown. The one I took in is wonderful.  She became acclimated to our household (and our dog, who is terrified of her) in less than a day.
