In healthy eating news outside Jackson Heights...

A new "whole food fusion" restaurant called Tierra Sana will be opening on Thursday in Forest Hills.

I talked to a few people who went there and, so far, it doesn't get much (if any) of a thumbs up. They said it was very unfocused, portion sizes were inconsistent, and the food was just sort of meh. But hopefully it'll get better over time...it's right at the 67th subway stop.

It certainly looks like a cool place.  Let's hope it gets better as they get their sea legs.  I'll give it a shot and let you guys know!

And speaking about fusion: It has a Native American chef, features natural and organic vegetarian/vegan food, and is certified Kosher.

Yea! I always get excited when any place in Queens opens that serves vegan food!  :smitten:
Woo-hoo! I definitely will try to check this place out.
