Title: Delhi Heights
Post by: dssjh on October 01, 2021, 02:51:57 PM
this isn't exactly breaking news, but what was once one of the nicer South Asian restaurants in the neighborhood has morphed into a steam table joint -- one with no posted menu, no less. a far smaller selection than either Raja or Maharaja, but there are meat options.

fair. not as good as Raja (which, as mentioned above, is vegetarian only) and not as good as al-Naimat was last time i had it, which was before their recent reconfiguration. it's standard steam table Indian food, maybe a little under-spiced, but not bad.

Yeah we were disappointed about this, because it was our top choice for Indian food in JH, and it was a nice, sit-down place with an extensive menu. Too bad.

for what it's worth, Delhi Heights 3.0 is now open 24 hours. no, it's not outstanding, but this is no longer the city that never sleeps, and it's nice to have a late-night/early morning option.
