Hi all! I'm new here. Hoping I post in the right section. :)
I found this cool video - Jackson Heights in the 70s filmed by high-school students. It's really neat to get a good look at the neighborhood 30 years ago in film.

Name any areas you can find! I found:
-Bulova Park
-79th street on 31st Avenue (near the Lady of Fatima Church going towards Northern Boulevard, you can get a clear look at the church in the beginning of the video. Doesn't look like the school accompanying it was built yet!)
-Walbaums at 75st on 31st Avenue, formerly titled Pantry Pride, along with the area directly outside.
Enjoy the video!

This is so fun. We think it shouldn't be too hard to get an id on one of those boys. It is East Elmhurst as a neighborhood-
not really JH -by todays boundaries anyway. Think the kids look like public HS students (mostly from the haircuts), probably
went to Bryant? and they were having a great time in their Queens world. Waldbaums might be a place to ask for info as
a lot of it was filmed near or in the supermarket which has alot of people who seem to be oldtimers to the neighborhood.
Thanks so much for posting this!
